Back in August of '07 I was introduced to this band called Angels & Airwaves. I had never heard of them before. It is led by ex Blink 182(er) Thomas DeLonge. Anyway, my sister Tina had the cd in her car for the cross country drive from Ca to NJ. I borrowed the cd burnt a copy and have listened to it almost daily ever since. These guys are amazing. I ran to Best Buy to purchase their new cd back in Nov/Dec '07. It is just as good, but I am partial to the first as it was how I was introduced. I joined a website back in Dec to get tour/concert info for NYC and low and behold....Angels & Airwaves. I literally ran to get my credit card and bought tickets within minutes. They had 5 opening bands. I liked all but one. This was a standing only area. We were center stage less than 10 feet from stage. Couldn't have been better, although could have done without all the crowd surfers coming overhead and a few on my head, not to mention a few feet to the head, but it was so worth it being that close to TOM. The mosh pits are still alive and well. We got beat up for 3solid hours. It was insanity but a blast.
