For those of you who do not love, or are not obsessed with music like I am, you may not fully grasp what I am about to say.... but here goes. I saw THE CURE in concert!! This truly was one of the most amazing nights of my life. There are a few bands still left in this world that ROCK and that will always rock, and The Cure are one of them. It is truly sickening that they have NOT been inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. They are the MOST influential band in the history of alternative music! If they let The Police in... why not The Cure? The Cure are and forever will be "The New Wave Goth Giants". They have influenced so many bands. This band shaped my world as a teenager. Popping in one of their CD's brings back so many feeling, emotions, and memories. What a great time in life; mid 80's - early 90's.
THIRTY + years later and these guys sound as good as ever, if not better LIVE! I was completely blown away. The song list was phenomenal. Couldn't have asked for better. Robert Smith is alive and well, and still kicking ass at 50. All Hail Robert Smith.....
